The scoreboard now favored the Wanderers, and as the game approached its conclusion, Dev, perhaps in an attempt to earn the "Dick of the Day" award, dropped a crucial pass with a massive overlap.

Undeterred, the Wanderers rallied. Spilsbury, showcasing his "undeniable" vet’s status, received a beautifully timed pass from Chris and ran an excellent line to score under the posts untouched.
