Replacement friendly fixture for 'no-show' of Law Society 2nds
In spite of lots of possession OHs failed to score and London Irish took advantage.

With a strong outfit selected and an excellent warm up, the 2s ran out at Ruxley feeling very confident. Although a friendly fixture, this was an excellent opportunity to lay down the standard for the rest of the season.
And this is exactly what the mighty OH did in the first 10 mins, threading together some great forward phases combined with a lovely backs move for Will Simpson to score in the corner.
Following this, the first half was ebbs and flows with OH never quite getting on top of the beatable opposition despite an excellent rolling maul try from Tom Meehan.
The second half slightly got away from the lads. London Irish were defending for the majority, but OH could never find that final pivotal pass.
A consolation try for MOTM Chris Bryant firing over from short range and the match was over. Final score OHRFC 19-46 LI. A good effort from the lads but not to be on the day.
